A fighter hailing from Grozny, Chechnya, Aliev picked up a memorable win in his hometown on Saturday at ACB 78. The recent welterweight-convert dropped Edmilson de Jose Barros with a sharp counter-right before finishing with ground-and-pound 59 seconds into round three.
This was just the second knockout win of Aliev’s young career, and he improves to 8-2 overall.
