Curtis Millender confirmed that he is one of the Legacy Fighting Alliance’s most dangerous welterweights on Friday.
The 30-year-old won the LFA 30 main event in Costa Mesa, Calif., with a slick head kick knockout of Nick Barnes. “Curtious” had been searching for the shot throughout the fight and eventually landed it to pick up the victory at the 2:51 mark of Round 2.
With his sixth consecutive win, Millender (14-3) is in prime position to challenge LFA welterweight champion James Nakashima when he returns from injury or possibly receive a long-awaited call to the UFC.
