Ray Borg’s withdrawal from his title fight with Demetrious Johnson at UFC 215 due to a viral infection has angered a lot of the MMA fan base, but the flyweight contender fired back at his critics on Twitter on Saturday night as the card was underway.
The 24-year-old took exception with one Twitter user pulling a tweet from last week where Borg shared a picture of himself looking into the distance during a training session with the caption, ‘When someone shows up to the party with Dunkin’ Donuts’.
You dumbass, 1 that was suppose to be just a funny caption and 2 it wasn't weight cutting issues.

Borg replied to a media member who tweeted Tryon Woodley’s account that he had “missed weight in 5 of his last 7 fights”.
I have gotten ill twice and missed weight twice, not all back to back you fucks act like I am the only fighter on the roster who has messed

He added to the thread by mentioning several UFC competitors who have struggled with the weight in the past.
Up or has had bad luck, how many times did linekar, gastelum, and others missed weight? How many times did Ian McCall get ill?

The back and forth continued and Borg reiterated that it wasn’t his choice to withdraw from the fight, but rather it was the UFC doctor’s decision to pull him from the fight.
You mother fuckers are acting like I chose not to fight read the damn statement the UFC doctor came to check on me and he pulled me.

Borg also underlined his disdain for people who have been critical of his situation without knowing the full extent of what happened before his forced withdrawal.
Just tired of all you duche bags so quick to bash us without really knowing what happens.
