At The Ultimate Fighter 23 Finale back in July 8, 2016, Kevin Lee took on fellow prospect Jake Matthews in a lightweight contest that was part of the UFC Fight Pass preliminary card. That night in Las Vegas, Lee earned his first UFC technical knockout victory, stopping Mathews in the first round.
Now, three victories and over a year later, Lee is getting ready to fight for a UFC interim lightweight title. The 25-year-old fighter takes on top contender Tony Ferguson in the main event of UFC 216, which is set to go down on Oct. 7 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev.
