KSW have added some more Irish interest to their maiden voyage to Dublin, which be headlined by a rematch between Mateusz Gamrot and Norman Parke.

The Polish promotion have confirmed to MMAFighting.com that former UFC featherweight Paul Redmond (12-6) and former Cage Warriors middleweight champion Chris Fields (11-7-1) have been added to the 3 Arena bill for Oct. 22.

Redmond, who meets Lukasz Chlewicki (14-6) at KSW 40, has rekindled his form since his two straight defeats in the Octagon to Mirsad Bektic and Robert Whiteford. Since his UFC exit, the Team Ryano man has gone 2-1, claiming a submission victory over former BAMMA champion Rob Sinclair in his last outing.

Following being cut from the UFC, “Redser” moved back to his preferred lightweight category and scored a decision win over Chris Stringer before losing a controversial decision to Norman Parke for the BAMMA lightweight title in Belfast last February.

Chlewicki is riding a two-fight skid going into the Dublin clash. His last outing came against a former opponent of Conor McGregor, veteran Polish campaigner Artur Sowinski, who submitted him in the first round of their meeting in the main event of KSW 38.

Before he fought Sowinski, Chlewicki lost to France’s Mansour Barnaoui when their bout was stopped due to a cut the Polish lightweight suffered in the early exchanges.

Former TUF contestant Fields has been chomping at the bit to get back to action after having five consecutive fights cancelled over the last 18 months, most notably a Bellator headline bout against Liam McGeary.

The former Cage Warriors champion returned to middleweight following his exit from TUF, but after suffering losses to Cheick Kone and Christopher Jacquelin, he returned to light heavyweight to score a submission win over Dan Konecke.

Fields faces off against Michal Fijalka (16-6-1) in Dublin, who is one of the topped ranked light heavyweights in Poland.

Fijalka has contested five bouts under the KSW banner, only coming up short in his most recent fight for the promotion last May when he lost a decision to Marcin Wojcik. Fijalka has since claimed a decision win over Marcin Lazarz, who he defeated in August in the main event of Babilon MMA 1.
