Part-time MMA fighter Joe Schilling was one of the top earners at Bellator Kickboxing 7, cashing a $50,000 payday for his TKO win over Najib Idali, according to payroll figures disclosed Tuesday by the California State Athletic Commission to MMA Fighting.
Schilling, a 33-year-old champion kickboxer who occasionally dabbles in MMA, finished Idali via second-round doctor’s stoppage on the main card of Bellator Kickboxing 7.
