At UFC on FOX 15 back in April 18, 2015, Luke Rockhold faced former UFC light heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida in the headlining slot of the card. It wasn’t a long main event, as Rockhold submitted Machida with a rear-naked choke in the second round of the middleweight contest. The victory earned Rockhold a $50,000 Performance of the Night bonus.
Now, two years later and having won and lost the middleweight title, Rockhold will take on former WSOF champion David Branch in the main event of UFC Pittsburgh (UFC Fight Night 116). The event is set to take on Saturday at the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
