Michael Bisping always has to have the last word.
The UFC middleweight champ and his upcoming opponent Georges St-Pierre have started doing the rounds for their UFC 217 title fight that takes place at Madison Square Garden in New York City, N.Y., on Nov. 4, and Bisping couldn’t let “GSP” off the hook without offering some less than sage wisdom.
Bisping shared a video on Instagram of himself cracking wise at a departing St-Pierre:
“Bye Georges, sweet dreams,” Bisping says in the clip. “Sweet dreams, train hard, take steroids, don’t get caught though. Don’t get caught!”
Bisping, of course, has long been in staunch opposition to the use of any performance enhancing substances having faced several opponents who have failed drug tests including Anderson Silva and Vitor Belfort, and he has been embroiled in a public feud with Yoel Romero who was also flagged by the USADA in January 2016.
For the most part, St-Pierre is on the same page as Bisping having lobbied for more advanced drug testing since before he took a hiatus from the sport in 2013. The former UFC welterweight champion appeared to laugh off Bisping comments.
