At UFC on FOX 24 back in April 15, former Bellator heavyweight champion Alexander Volkov picked up his biggest win yet inside the Octagon.
Volkov took on UFC veteran and now Bellator fighter Roy Nelson in the preliminary portion on the card. That night, the Russian fighter defeated Nelson via a unanimous decision. The victory improved Volkov’s win streak to four in a row and his MMA record to 28–6.
Now, the 28-year-old Volkov will follow up that performance by taking on Stefan Struve in the main event of UFC Fight Night 115, which is set to go down on Sept. 2 at the Ahoy Rotterdam in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
