All 10 fighters competing on the fifth edition of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series received purses of $5,000 to show and $5,000 to win, as per usual, including main event winner Mike Rodriguez. The Nevada Athletic Commission on Wednesday released its salaries and medical suspensions report for the event.
Rodriguez, a light heavyweight prospect, was awarded a UFC contract for his spectacular first-round flying knee knockout of Jamelle Jones, which the headlined the card and aired live on UFC Fight Pass. Flyweight prospect Alex Perez also earned a UFC deal for his performance, which saw him put Kevin Gray to sleep with a first-round anaconda choke.
