Paulie Malignaggi is still not happy about the way things have played out with Conor McGregor.
Malignaggi was brought in by the UFC lightweight champion to help him spar in preparation to his upcoming boxing match with Floyd Mayweather on Aug. 26. The Malignaggi-McGregor relationship didn’t last long, as some unfavorable photos of Malignaggi were leaked from from their sparring session Tuesday.
This caused the former boxing world champion to leave McGregor’s training camp Thursday and go on a Twitter rant against the Irishman and his team.
Well, the furor hasn’t died down yet, as Malignaggi took to Twitter again Saturday to take more shots at McGregor.
“He whimpers like a girl when he gets ripped to body,” Malignaggi wrote.
Yea but this coming week I'll actually start to discuss a bit what happened Tuesday, he whimpers like a girl when he gets ripped to body lol https://t.co/lfcuILlubJ— Paul Malignaggi (@PaulMalignaggi) August 6, 2017
I did that after Tues work, I suppose the ass whippin didn't suit him so he posted dumb pics again by Thurs while skipping sparring that day https://t.co/e4TuiN1TS9— Paul Malignaggi (@PaulMalignaggi) August 6, 2017
The former boxing champion said he’d be discussing more about McGregor and their two sparring sessions this week and that McGregor must have had pictures posted from the sessions because he was uncomfortable with Malignaggi beating him up.
While his time in the ring with McGregor seems to be over for now, Malignaggi is spending time on social media going at with fans. McGregor and his team have been quiet about the whole situation thus far.
Footage is not controlled by showtime they weren't allowed to record even 4 all access, only UFC PI surveillance cameras recorded this. https://t.co/GCKYqUk2ec— Paul Malignaggi (@PaulMalignaggi) August 6, 2017
Malignaggi added that he “absolutely” regrets ever flying out to Las Vegas to help McGregor train and he never got paid for being a sparring partner.
The non disclosure is void dipshit I never got paid lol https://t.co/Ux8QCUf4OV— Paul Malignaggi (@PaulMalignaggi) August 6, 2017
