Diego Sanchez’ next bout will be contest at 170 pounds.
The winner of the first season of The Ultimate Fighter will be returning to the welterweight division to take on fellow veteran Matt Brown at UFC Fight Night 120. This event takes place Nov. 11 at the Ted Constant Convocation Center in Norfolk, Va.
The 35-year-old Sanchez is coming off a knockout loss to Al Iaquinta back in April at UFC Fight Night 108. Sanchez is 2-3 in his past five outings and currently sports a professional MMA record of 27-10. The JacksonWink product last fought at welterweight in February 2012 where he lost a close decision to Jake Ellenberger in a Fight of the Night performance.
His opponent, Brown, last competed at UFC 206 in December where he suffered a knockout loss to Donald Cerrone. “The Immortal” is 1-5 in his last six trips to the Octagon, and 21-16 in his overall professional MMA career.
