Aiemann Zahabi will face another Brazilian in the UFC.
The younger brother of longtime MMA coach Firas Zahabi is scheduled to take on Ricardo Ramos at the UFC’s return to New York’s Madison Square Garden on Nov. 4, the promotion announced. Montreal Gazette first reported the match-up.
Zahabi (7-0) made his Octagon debut last February, defeating Reginaldo Vieira via unanimous decision. That bout marked the first time the bantamweight prospect has gone the distance as a MMA fighter.
Ramos (10-1), a one-time Legacy FC title contender, defeated Michinori Tanaka via unanimous decision in his first appearance under the UFC banner in February. The Brazilian prospect has finished his opponent in eight of his 10 MMA wins.
