The UFC went back and chronicled all of the trials and tribulations of Jon Jones — from his DUI to his felony hit-and-run arrest — in an epic new trailer.
On Saturday night, the promotion released the official promo video for UFC 214: Cormier vs. Jones 2 during the UFC 213 broadcast. The excellent piece is entitled “Tame Your Demons” and paints an incredible picture of the last six years of Jones’ life, through many ups and downs.
Jones, who was the youngest champion in UFC history, was supposed to have a rematch with Daniel Cormier at UFC 200 last year, but he was pulled from the card due to a positive drug test and later suspended one year.
The two bitter rivals will finally meet again at UFC 214 on July 29 in Anaheim, Calif. Cormier fell to Jones in their first fight, but later won the title when Jones was stripped following a felony hit-and-run arrest in 2015.
