The UFC has added a welterweight clash between Leon Edwards and Bryan Barberena to its upcoming Fight Night event in Rotterdam, Netherlands, on Sept. 2.
Edwards (13-3) enters the cage coming off a decision win over Vicente Luque in March. “Rocky" holds a perfect 5-0 record when competing in European UFC cards, including a submission win over Albert Tumenov and an eight-second knockout against Seth Baczynski.
Barberena (13-4) recently stopped Joe Proctor in the first round in April, bouncing back from a decision loss to Colby Covington. “Bam Bam” has won in four of his six Octagon appearances, finishing Sage Northcutt and Joe Ellenberger before earning a decision win over Warlley Alves.
The UFC Fight Night card takes place at the Ahoy Rotterdam arena, and features Stefan Struve vs. Alexander Volkov in the main event.
