Talita Nogueira is once again set to make her Bellator debut.
The undefeated Brazilian jiu-jitsu ace is scheduled to take on Gabrielle Holloway in a featherweight bout in the preliminary portion of Bellator 182 in Verona, N.Y., on Aug. 25. Bellator officials confirmed the match-up to MMA Fighting.
Nogueira (6-0) was originally slated to make her promotional debut in Feb. 2015, but pulled out of a fight with future 145-pound champion Julia Budd due to a knee injury. It took over a year for “Treta" to return, but she ended up missing weight prior to her Bellator 163 bout with Marloes Coenen.
A multiple-time jiu-jitsu champion, Nogueira signed with Bellator after finishing six opponents between 2009 and 2013 on the Brazilian circuit.
Holloway (6-5) recently scored her first win under the Bellator banner, stopping UFC veteran Alexis Dufresne in the second round in March. Her previous bouts in the promotion ended with decision losses to Arlene Beencowe and Julia Budd, when she replaced Nogueira on 10 days’ notice.
Bellator 182 will take place at the Turning Stone Casino, featuring former welterweight champion Andrey Koreshkov versus Chidi Njokuani in the main event.
