UFC Fight Night 110 media day staredowns

New Zealand's own Mark Hunt will get the chance to compete in his native country for the first time in his MMA career Saturday night, when he faces Derrick Lewis in the main event of UFC Fight Night 110. The fighters squared off for the first time after Thursday's media day.

Hunt (12-11-1, 1 NC) scored his last MMA wins competing in Australia in 2015 and 2016, knocking out both Antonio Silva and Frank Mir in the opening round, but enters this bout coming off defeats to Brock Lesnar (later overturned to a no-contest) and Alistair Overeem.

Lewis (18-4, 1 NC), on the other hand, looks to continue his rise in the heavyweight division after winning six in a row with five knockouts, including stoppage victories over Travis Browne and Gabriel Gonzaga.

In the co-main event of UFC Auckland, Australian middleweight Daniel Kelly meets Derek Brunson in a middleweight bout.
