This is the Promotional Malpractice Live Chat.
Today on the podcast, we'll go over the ins and outs of Demetrious Johnson taking his battle with the UFC public. Why is that important? Does he have a point about not being marketed? Is the UFC right about the flyweights not being worth it when it comes it marketing? What does it say that Bellator doesn't even have a flyweight division? We'll talk about all of this and more.
We'll also get to the results from Saturday's UFC 212 where Max Holloway bested Jose Aldo to become the new featherweight champion. This is a positive turn of events for the division and creates fresh matchups with a lot of the contenders at the top. The results also speak highly of Holloway and even Aldo, to an extent. That will be explained today, too.
The UFC train continues to roll with UFC Fight Night: Hunt vs. Lewis on Saturday. We'll preview that card and get everyone ready.
