Round 1: Mario Yamasaki is the referee. Kowalkiewicz just as calm as they come. They touch gloves, and Kowalkiewicz to the center. Overhand right from Gadelha doesn’t come close, and there’s a nice right from Kowalkiewicz. Another hot exchange, with Gadelha getting across the right. They clinch, and Gadleha with a brutal elbow and a follow up from that spot. Mean stuff there. Now a high kick, but Poland’s Kowalkiewicz blocks that. It’s Kowalkiewicz moving in, and Gadelha just trying to time out something big. Still, Kowalkiewicz landing the right. Here’s double underhooks from Gadelha, twisting Kowalkiewicz to the ground. Now Gadelha grabs her back, and is trying to get the body lock. She has a great position here. Now she sinks a rear naked deep! And it doesn’t take long for the tap. Wow. Gadelha the first to finish Kowalkiewicz.
