We're fresh off of two relatively big events of significance in mixed martial arts (MMA): Bellator NYC and UFC Fight Night: Chiesa vs. Lee. On the first count, it was a bizarre if memorable night. While we don't know its ultimate measure of success, there were both positives and negatives to the night. We'll explore the ups, downs and everything in between of Saturday in Madison Square Garden. We'll also take a look at the results from Kevin Lee's controversial submission win, B.J. Penn's languid performance and more.
There's also some shuffling going around with Cyborg Justino no longer facing Megan Anderson at UFC 214. Anderson is out, reportedly, and Tonya Evinger is in at featherweight. The title is still on the line and Evinger gets her long awaited today.
The PFL makes their debut this weekend, Felice Herrig has complained of being improperly promoted, Justine Kish made an incredible amount of news and more. We'll discuss it all.
