Mike Winkeljohn Thinks That Conor has a "chance"? LOL

Mike Winkeljohn has actually said that Conor has a chance against Floyd early on, due to his unorthodox "footwork" and "angles", LOL.

This has got to be the biggest joke of an assessment since Joe Rogan announced that we had entered "The Machida Era".

Look at Conor's footwork and angles in his sparring match against Van Heerden.

I'm talking about the video released recently by Van Heerden himself (showing a closer view of the action).

Edited or not, Conor's footwork was a complete joke and his angles were also non existent.

Oh, and his "speed" was WAY too slow to even compete with Van Heerden (who's not even close to Mayweather's speed).

Conor looked like an amateur in there against a pro BECAUSE that's exactly what he was, LOL.

Oh, and with 10 ounce gloves it's a whole different sport.

Based on Conor's slow timing against Van Heerden, it's safe to say that he's got no way to land on Floyd regardless of the "angles" used.

He's just TOO SLOW to land anything even if he had a "magical angle" to begin with. LOL.

Mike Winkeljohn actually said that Conor has a chance to show Floyd some "angles" that he's never seen before? LOL.

Yeah sure.

I'm sure that pro boxing trainers have never explored the types of angles that Conor uses in MMA fights. I'm sure that boxers have never tried to adapt such angles to boxing just to see how they work.

I'm sure that Conor's secret angles were invented in a TOP SECRET LABORATORY where only a rating of 007 (or above) gets you access to these secret angles. LOL.

I'm sure that only the trainers in Dublin's boxing gyms know about these secret angles.

HINT: If it was that easy to connect on Floyd then every boxer under the sun would be adopting every unorthodox angle known to man.

But what about the "age" of the sparring video?

It happened 12 months ago, so maybe Conor has improved since then, right? LOL.

Yeah sure.

I'm sure that 12 months is enough time to go from getting owned by Van Heerden to boxing with Floyd Mayweather. LOL.

I'm sure that if he spent 12 months perfecting his wrestling, he'll be ready to compete against the best wrestlers in the world too. LOL.

Not to mention that he's spent much of the last 12 months doing things other than boxing, like prepping for an MMA fight and also taking it easy (on vacation) while waiting for the birth of his child.

It's not as if he's been in a boxing gym everyday for the last 12 months studying under Freddie Roach or some other world class boxing trainer 24/7, LOL.

REALITY: Conor will get clowned every round and Floyd will put on a defensive clinic. It will be rinse and repeat for 12 rounds, probably a boring fight, but definitely a clinic by Floyd.

I can't believe the nonsense being spouted by some people in the MMA community.

Contrary to Winkeljohn's expert opinion, Conor most certainly does NOT have a chance "early on" against Floyd, just as he wouldn't have a chance "early on" against an Olympic wrestler after 12 months of wrestling practice.

Conor is not a boxer and his footwork and angles in MMA don't translate to pro boxing.

If that weren't true then Van Heerden wouldn't have OWNED Conor in that sparring session.

Oh, and let's not forget that Van Heerden had just come off vacation and was out of shape and not even in training during that sparring session.

I'm done. No need to pile on any further. :-)
