Travis Browne rips Derrick Lewis on Instagram; wants rematch

Travis Browne clearly hasn’t forgotten Derrick Lewis’ words.

Heading into their UFC Fight Night 105 main event in February, Lewis made repeated references to accusations of domestic abuse made against Browne. No charges were ever filed against Browne and an independent investigation found “inconclusive evidence.”

Nonetheless, after Lewis defeated Browne via a brutal knockout, he persisted, once again referencing Browne’s allegations on the mic and throwing in a questionable comment about Browne’s fiancee, Ronda Rousey.

Saturday, it was Lewis’ turn to be on the wrong end of a finish, as he lost to Mark Hunt at UFC Fight Night 110.

And Browne let loose on Lewis. In addition to referencing Lewis’ comments back in February, Browne also told Lewis he should go ahead with his plans to retire, but that if he was to continue competing, he’d be down for a rematch.
