UFC Fight Night: Swanson vs. Lobov took place April 22 at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee. UFC featherweight contender Cub Swanson (25-7) took on TUF veteran Artem Lobov (14-13-1) in the night's main event, which aired live on FOX Sports 1. Catch the video highlights above.

Round 1: Herb Dean is your referee for this main event. The two men come out and Lobov's arms are moving a lot as he takes the center of the cage. The two clinch and Swanson lands some knees but nothing major. Lobov pushes Swanson up against the fence with double underhooks and secures a takedown. Lobov can't keep Swanson down for long though and they're back to the feet. Swanson lands a good straight right but Lobov is landing some solid leg and body kicks. Lobov gets caught with a left that looks like it might've stung. Lobov is a little more active but Swanson is landing cleaner shots. Lobov lands a good counter left followed by a strong inside leg kick. Cub ducks under a wild right hand and he may have Lobov's timing down. Swanson is landing some good counter lefts though. Round 2: Round two starts and Lobov comes forward with a flurry but Swanson counters. Now Swanson is pressuring and Lobov is moving back. Good exchanges here as Lobov is getting good leg kicks and landing some counters whereas Cub is landing more straight right hands to the head and body. Swanson swing a wild right hand that Lobov easily slides away from. The two clinch in the center of the cage. Swanson lands a few light knees and Lobov goes for an outside trip which Cub denies. Paced has slowed here in this clinch. Swanson his a foot sweep and now he's on top of Lobov on working elbows from half guard. Lobov uses a leg lock to try and stand and Swanson mvoes to mount and then back control! Swanson is a little high but he's controlling well enough and landing some good punches. Swanson tries to slip the arm under but can't. Lobov stands but Swanson still has his back. Lobov separates and a flurry of exchanges that mostly miss ends the round. Round 3: The third round starts with Swanson taking the center of the cage. Lobov is upright and Swanson lands a good right to the body. Swanson throws a big left hook that glances off. Now another left hand and Lobov is nodding and smiling at Swanson. Swanson starting to land cleaner but Lobov is still working counter. Swanson dives in with an elbow and then clinches, driving Lobov to the fence. Swanson lands a big left and right that has Swanson moving backwards. Swanson lands a glancing wheel kick that looks like it hurt Lobov! His legs are a little loose but Lobov is doing a good job of staying composed and throwing. Herb Dean stops the fight to check a cut on the eyelid of Lobov but the fight is allowed to continue. Lobov is leaving his counters out a little too long and Swanson lands a big left hand over the top. Lobov's chin ain't playing around. He takes another left hand and a glancing head kick. A big right hand lands for Swanson. Cub is looking for a KO but Lobov's chin is holding up and he's still landing solid counters. Straight right lands for Swanson and then Swanson lands a cartwheel kick flush but Lobov eats it, catches the leg, and takes Swanson down as the round ends. MMA Fighting scores the round 10-9 Swanson.Round 4: The championship rounds begin and now Lobov is back to pressuring. Lobov lands a good uppercut that may have buckled Swanson's knees for a moment. Hard to tell because immediately Lobov clinched against the fence. When Lobov is coming forward he's doing much better. He's landing off the back foot but Swanson is landing cleaner. Lobov lands a good left hook and the two clinch in the center of the cage. Lobov goes for a knee tap but Swanson denies it. Swanson breaks the clinch with a spinning elbow that lands clean and Lobov is no worse for wear! Lobov comes forward and Swanson hits a three picee. Swanson is landing good shots clean and Lobov is taking them and throwing back. Lobov lands a big counter left hand as Swanson comes in. Now the two are brawling a bit and Lobov is getting the better of it. Lobov goes for a telegraphed single leg and Swanson stuffs it easily. Swanson lands a big counter that backs Lobov up but the Russian Hammer resets and comes back. You've gotta respect Lobov's toughness as Swanson continues to land good straight rights and left hooks and Lobov keeps coming. Swanson goes for a wheel kick that misses as the round ends. Round 5: Lobov like needs a finish here but will he be able to get it? They touch gloves to start the fifth and right back to it. Swanson has done some sneaky good body work and Lobov gets back to the leg kicks that worked well for him. Lobov hits Swanson with a big uppercut and it knocks down Swanson though that may have been a slip. Swanson certainly doesn't seem hurt and they're back at it, swinging in the center. A few exchanges and now they're clinched in the center. Not much happens and they're back in the center but Lobov gets double underhooks and drives Swanson to the fence. Over-under position and Swanson is landing the better knees as Dean tells the men to work. The separate with 90 seconds left. Lobov's right eye is a nightmare and Swanson keeps landing good shots including a head kick. Lobov won't be denied though as he presses forward, throwing punches. They clinch and Swanson his a high amplitude hip-toss. Swanson moves to the back but Lobov gets back to his feet. They brawl it out for the last 10 seconds in what will likely be the Fight of the Night. MMA Fighting scores the round 10-9 Swanson (49-46 for Cub Swanson overall).
