Fresh off a devastating finish in his UFC debut, Paulo Borrachinha is set to return to the Octagon in June.
The undefeated middleweight is set to meet Oluwale Bamgbose at UFC 212, pay-per-view event scheduled for June 3 at Rio de Janeiro’s HSBC Arena, sources told MMA Fighting following a report by Combate.
Borrachinha (9-0) only got a chance in the Octagon three years after going 1-1 on TUF Brazil 3, and needed 77 seconds to stop Garreth McLellan, earning the 'Performance of the Night’ bonus for his knockout at UFC Fight Night 106 in March.
Bamgbose (6-2) has only fought TUF alums during his UFC run, with his quick knockout win over Daniel Sarafian sandwiched between losses to Uriah Hall and Cezar Ferreira. Bamgbose hasn’t fought since April 2016.
