It's been a big week for Bellator. Yesterday in New York City, the promotion held a press conference to announce and promote their June pay-per-view event, Bellator NYC. It was a strange affair at times, but one that demonstrated Bellator's growth as well. Chael Sonnen stole the show, but Bellator President Scott Coker also used the opportunity to drive home how big this event could be (in his estimation) and why free agency right now is hot. I was in attendance. We'll discuss this and more.

Lots of relatively smaller UFC fights have been announced including Andrei Arlovski's next move. Michael Bisping appears to be getting impatient with Georges St-Pierre in terms of setting a fighting date. Paige VanZant is going to appear on another reality show, although this one requires less time and effort.

Andy Foster, the head of the CSAC, has also put together a now-revised 10-point plan to help curb weight cutting. We'll talk about those policies.

Last, but certainly not least, Rampage Jackson and Mo Lawal fight this weekend in Rosemont, Illinois in the headlining bout of Bellator 175. We'll talk more about that, too.
