A middleweight clash between Vitor Miranda and Marvin Vettori was booked for UFC Fight Night 112 in Oklahoma City on June 25. Both fighters revealed the bout on social media following a report by Combate.
Miranda (12-5), a TUF: Brazil 4 heavyweight finalist, looks to get back on track after Chris Camozzi snapped his three-fight knockout streak last May. Miranda stayed on the sidelines for months after the loss after undergoing shoulder surgery.
Vettori (11-3) enters the bout coming off a decision loss to Antonio Carlos Junior, and faces the fourth Brazilian in a row. The Italian middleweight had won six straight leading up to his last bout, including his UFC debut against Alberto Uda.
UFC Fight Night 112 takes place at Oklahoma City’s Chesapeake Energy Arena. The official fight card also includes B.J. Penn vs. Dennis Siver, Tim Boetsch vs. Johny Hendricks, Felice Herrig vs. Justine Kish, Carla Esparza vs. Maryna Moroz, Ilir Latifi vs. Antonio Rogerio Nogueira, and Josh Stansbury vs. Jeremy Kimball.
