Marc Diakiese isn’t wasting any time.
Just days after cementing himself as a prospect to watch in the UFC lightweight division with a ferocious 30-second knockout at UFC Fight Night 107, the 24-year-old set his sights on his next target: lightweight fan-favorite Paul Felder.
Things started out innocuously enough. Following his bonus-winning knockout over Teemu Packalen on Saturday, Diakiese was informed in a post-fight scrum that Felder had expressed interest in testing himself against the young ATT product.
“F*ck him, I’ll fight him,” Diakiese responded (video via Severe MMA). “If he wants to fight me, I’ll fight him. Simple.”
But Diakiese didn’t stop there. On Tuesday, “Bonecrusher” took to social media to continue his pursuit of Felder, and it didn’t take long for things to escalate. Check out their exchange below.
.@felderpaul It shows how much of a coward you are, instead off calling me out yourself, your asking for somebody else to do it #firstrndko

Diakiese (12-0) on Saturday expressed interest in fighting May 28 at UFC Fight Night 109 in Stockholm, Sweden, while Felder (13-3) has recently called for a date on July 16 in Glasgow, Scotland.
Diakiese is now 3-0 in the UFC and looks to be one of hottest prospects in the 155-pound division. Felder, on the other hand, appears to have turned his fortunes around after a rocky start to his UFC tenure, racking up three wins over his last four fights, highlighted by a devastating first-round assault of Alessandro Ricci this past February. So in that regard, the fight makes sense.
Is Felder vs. Diakiese something you want to see?
