Today on the podcast, we'll discuss the Kelvin Gastelum vs. Anderson Silva fight. Is this the right match-up for both fighters? Is this good for the middleweight division? Why didn't Gastelum jump to middleweight sooner? We'll break down every angle of this UFC 212 match-up. There's also a bigger question of what's happening to the current crop of Brazilian stars and whether the newest crop of them will ever be as popular or successful as the one currently aging out.

We'll also dig into the UFC Fight Night 107 or UFC London card on Saturday. The main event is less than inspiring, but the card features the retirement fight of Brad Pickett, Gunnar Nelson vs. Alan Jouban and a few other noteworthy gems.

There's also WSOF 35 this weekend, which also features it's fair share of decent fights and up-and-coming talent.

Plus, Demetrious Johnson made some interesting comments about the nature of popularity, Ryan Bader appears headed for Bellator, the athletic commission in California will begin fining fighters who miss weight more than usual and so much more.
