The UFC has announced the 12th bout to its card in Fortaleza.

UFC Fight Night 106, which marks the return of the Octagon to the capital of Ceara, Brazil, on March 11, will feature a welterweight clash between Sergio Moraes and Max Griffin.

Moraes (11-2-1) is undefeated since dropping back to welterweight in 2012, going 5-0-1 after losing to Cezar Ferreira at the TUF: Brazil 1 middleweight final. The jiu-jitsu specialist has scored three of his UFC wins by stoppage, finishing Renee Forte, Neil Magny and Omari Akhmedov.

Griffin (13-3), a former Tachi PF welterweight champion, competed on the 16th season of The Ultimate Fighter in 2012. The Sacramento-native only made his UFC debut four years later, going 1-1 in 2016 with a loss to Colby Covington and a quick victory against Erick Montano last November.
