The UFC has announced the signing of a Chinese MMA standout.
Wang Guan, a 31-year-old featherweight from Beijing, has signed a multi-fight deal with the company, the UFC announced Tuesday. It’s expected he’ll make his company debut on the June 17 card at Singapore Indoor Stadium against an opponent to be determined.
“I will continue to keep a clean record in the UFC, showing the world my ‘China Power.’” Guan said. “It’s a dream come true, my ability is approved by the UFC now. This also means the opponents I face next will be the best in the world. This will push me to train even harder.”
Guan brings a 15-1-1 record into the Octagon and is riding a three-fight win streak, all via finish.
