Derek Brunson was left feeling robbed in Brooklyn.
The UFC middleweight wrote in a statement on Facebook that he does not understand how the judges at UFC 208 scored a victory for Anderson Silva in their fight Saturday night at Barclays Center. Brunson wrote that he felt like he “outclassed” Silva in the three-round fight that ended up going to “The Spider” via unanimous decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28).
Wow unreal I put my heart & soul out there on 3 weeks notice only to get it taken from me.I just outclassed the greatest of all time #UFC208

Brunson (16-5) seemed to land the harder shots throughout the fight, particularly in the first and third rounds. A majority of media members scored the bout for Brunson, per MMADecisions.com.
On Twitter, Brunson poked fun at the judges by posting a picture of blind singers Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder.

Brunson, 33, has now lost two in a row officially despite what many saw as a winning performance Saturday night. The North Carolina native won five straight before that, including four first-round knockouts. Brunson lost to Robert Whittaker by first-round TKO in November.
