Round 1: Referee for this one is Dan Miragliotta. They touch gloves. Front kick to the body from Jacare. He's holding the center, tracking Boetsch's movements around him. Nice right hand from Jacare, who was setting up a takedown attempt, which Boetsch thwarts. Now they tango across the cage, they are locked for a full rotation, and Jacare slips in a punch on the break. Leg kick from Boetsch. He continues to circle. Jacare continues to stalk. A left hand from Jacare, and Boetsch with a big counter which clipped Souza! He's okay, but some life there from the crowd and the Barbarian. Now Jacare ducks down and takes Boetsch off his feet along the fence. HE goes right to side control, and this is a bad spot for Boetsch. Jacare maneuvering and now into mount. He shifts and goes for a Kimura...and he's got that working! There's the tap! First finish of the night. It's Jacare coming through with a first round submission. Great stuff for a guy who didn't want to put up with any unnecessary hazards in a "stay busy" kind of fight.
