Fighters get custom shirts from Brooklyn artist for UFC 208 weigh-ins

The UFC fighters will be looking a little different Friday.

Athletes competing at UFC 208 will be wearing custom Reebok shirts with art designed by a local Brooklyn artist at the ceremonial weigh-ins, the UFC announced.

The UFC 208 limited-edition posters were also designed by the artist, Gian Galang, a longtime MMA and Muay Thai enthusiast. For more of Galang’s work, click here.

The red corner will be wearing the black shirts and the blue corner fighters will be sporting the white ones. The UFC 208 ceremonial weigh-ins begin at 6 p.m. ET Friday at the Kings Theatre in Brooklyn.

UFC 208 is headlined by a women’s featherweight title fight between former bantamweight champion Holly Holm and Germaine de Randamie. In the co-main event, legend Anderson Silva faces Derek Brunson. The fights will go down at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on Saturday night.
