At UFC 198 on May 14, 2016, long-time women’s featherweight queen Cris Cyborg made her UFC debut, taking on fellow veteran Leslie Smith in an 140-pound catchweight. That night in Curitiba, Brazil, Cyborg defeated Smith via first-round technical knockout.
Now, over a year and two wins later, Cyborg will defend her featherweight title against former bantamweight champ Holly Holm in the headlining slot of UFC 219. The event is set to go down on Dec. 30 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev.
