The featherweight division has itself a new contender.
In his first UFC main event, undefeated 26-year-old Brian Ortega showed why he is a name to watch at 145 pounds, dispatching Cub Swanson with a masterful second-round guillotine choke at UFC Fresno. The stellar performance capped off an event that also saw Marlon Moraes score one of the year’s nastiest knockouts with a first-round knee to the face that put Aljamain Sterling out cold.
