Having recently coached a team of female fighters on The Ultimate Fighter 26, it’s safe to say that Justin Gaethje has an appreciation for the martial arts mastery of the fairer sex.

That was evident on Saturday night when the lightweight slugger posted a video to his Instagram in which he is literally in tears praising teammate and new strawweight champion Rose Namajunas for her stunning upset of the previously undefeated Joanna Jedrzejczyk at UFC 217:

(Warning: The following video contains passionate, NSFW language)

I am so proud of you @rosenamajunas

Gaethje is no stranger to high-octane battles inside the cage, so for him to be overwhelmed like this says a lot about what Namajunas accomplished on Saturday.

For a transcript of Gaethje’s comments, see below:

Oh my God, I’m f**king crying right now. (unintelligible yell) Believe in your f**cking self! Rose is my f**king hero and idol, oh my God. F**k yeah!
