Round 1: And the time has finally come. Will this end up being Matt Brown’s final fight? He seems to have walked that talk back this week, but we’ll see. Referee Dan Miragliotta is your third man in the cage. Here we go. Sanchez storms forward and immediately shoots for a takedown against the fence. Brown defends and, after a minute of inaction, shucks Sanchez off. Sanchez reshoots and drives Brown into the fence. Again, Brown successfully defends the takedown. Another single-leg attempt fails for Sanchez, this one worse than the previous two. Brown closes the distance. Sanchez uncorks a massive body kick that hurts Brown! Brown plays it off and Sanchez decides not to follow up. Brown lands a nice counter knee. Brown catches a high kick and UNLOADS a ferocious standing elbow that folds Sanchez! Oh my God, that was violent. Sanchez crumples to the floor. What a knockout. What a way to go out, if this is truly the end.
