Cris Cyborg's contract situation in the UFC is still complicated, but UFC president Dana White is confident that she will eventually return to action against Holly Holm.

Cyborg fought the last bout of her deal in July, when she stopped Tonya Evinger in the third round at UFC 214 to capture the vacant featherweight title, and campaigned for a bout with former bantamweight champion Holm at UFC 219 on Dec. 30.

The Brazilian posted on her Twitter last week that she had canceled her upcoming meeting with the promotion because “they want to pay me less to fight Holly Holm than I made to fight Tonya Evinger."

Five days later, at the UFC 216 post-fight press conference in Las Vegas Saturday night, White said nothing is done yet, but he’s hopeful that Cyborg vs. Holm is coming.

"Yeah, yeah, I think we’ll get it done,” White said. "It’s not done yet. I can never predict what’s gonna happen, but I think we’ll get it done. Soon.”

Holm (11-3) bounced back to the winning column in June, recovering from a three-fight losing skid with a spectacular knockout over Bethe Correia. Cyborg (18-1, 1 no-contest), on the other hand, scored knockout wins in her three UFC appearances.
