Nik Lentz has opened up about his withdrawal from UFC 216.
The lightweight fighter released a statement late Friday night on his removal from Saturday’s UFC 216 in Las Vegas, Nev.
Lentz, who is 27–8–2 and one no-contest in his fighting career, was scheduled to take on former Bellator lightweight champion and ex-teammate Will Brooks in the FX preliminary portion of the card. However, on Friday morning the UFC announced that due to medical issues Lentz was forced off the card.
