Holly Holm and Cris Cyborg aren’t even officially scheduled to fight yet and they’re already going at it on social media.
The Brazilian featherweight star has been openly campaigning for a bout with Holm, and she has recently accused her fellow UFC fighter’s JacksonWink team of using nefarious means to get ahead.
Here are a few of the comments Cyborg posted on Twitter:
3th visit from USADA in less than a month.

There should be no problem testing both the same amount of time. Name a gym in mma with more @usantidoping violations than @JacksonWinkMMA

On Tuesday, Holm took to Instagram to respond to Cyborg with a short clip, stating that she’s already been tested more than her would-be rival has:
“So apparently there was a little bit of drama today because USADA went to Cyborg’s house and I know I’ve been the topic of interest a lot on her social media and I don’t mind fighters trying to promote fights, that’s fine, but let’s be real for a minute.
“She said she’s been tested by USADA and wants to be tested just as much, and she probably should have looked on their public records on the USADA web page and seen I’ve been tested nine times compared to her eight. I’m in no race, I really don’t care, I just know I compete clean and they test me all the time. So, I just never needed an applause for passing my tests. In the meantime, I’ll just spend my time training and she can spend her time complaining and making false accusations and false memes.”
Along with the clip, Holm also posted two screenshots from the USADA website verifying her statement.
Cyborg is currently hunting for a high-profile opponent for her first championship defense after winning the vacant UFC women’s featherweight title this past July and it looks like she’s doing everything she can to set up a superfight with Holm, who previously held the women’s bantamweight championship and several boxing titles.
