Corey Anderson might not Beast 25/8 anymore, but however long he beasts these days, he’ll do it over in London.
Anderson will fight Jimi Manuwa in a matchup of ranked light heavyweight on the March 18 UFC Fight Night card. MMAFighting.com confirmed an initial report by FloCombat.
The knockout artist Manuwa (16-2) scored one of his most memorable finishes to date with a second-round stoppage of Ovince Saint Preux at UFC 204. The gave the London resident two wins in his past three fights.
Anderson (11-2), meanwhile, continues to build on a UFC career which was launched with his win in The Ultimate Fighter 19. He finished Sean O’Connell via second-round TKO on Dec. 9 in Albany, N.Y., which was his fourth win his past five fights. He then announced after the bout he was dropping his memorable “Beastin’ 25/8” nickname in favor of “Overtime.”
