Angela Lee ONE Championship

Coming off one of the best fights of 2016, Angela Lee will put her ONE Championship atomweight belt on the line when she faces Jenny Huang on March 11.

ONE: Warrior Kingdom takes place at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.

Lee (6-0) won the ONE title last May, defeating Mei Yamaguchi via unanimous decision after five thrilling rounds. All of her other five professional fights took place under the ONE banner, with five submission victories.

“I am so excited for my first title defense," Lee stated in a release. "I had back-to-back fights leading up to the title fight, and after I won the belt I took some time off. The goal for 2017 is to be an active champion and to stay busy."

Huang (5-0) in also unbeaten as a professional fighter, and earned a shot at the 105-pound gold after four straight victories inside the ONE Championship cage, including three straight submission finishes in 2016.

"I have been working so hard to come to this point in my career, and now that I’m finally here it all feels very surreal to me," Huang said. "Inside the cage I only have one goal, and that’s to win this bout at any cost. She had better be prepared for what I bring to the table, because I will go to battle with my full arsenal.”
