Amanda Nunes regrets taking some shots at Ronda Rousey following their bout at UFC 207.

On Tuesday, UFC women’s bantamweight champion Nunes took to Instagram to issue a public apology to Rousey for some of the comments and posts made towards the former champion. Both Nunes and Rousey met in the main event of UFC 207 back in December, and in just 48 seconds into the fight, Nunes was able to defend her 135-pound title against the former champion.

Following the fight, Nunes was very vocal about her feelings and opinion towards Rousey, and made a series of social media posts making fun of the MMA star. Now, a month later, Nunes not only apologized to Rousey for her actions, but also to the fans and the UFC.

“Let me take a moment to explain myself,” Nunes wrote. “I was overwhelmed with adrenaline, emotion and hurt at the time. I held so much in during the weeks prior to my fight with Ronda. I might have said or posted some things at the time that I now realize was not the right thing to do. I want to apologize to Ronda. Her fans and mine and the UFC as well. Ronda is an amazing athlete and has done so much for this sport, especially for the women.”
