Kevin Lee vs. Francisco Trinaldo set for UFC Fight Night Fortaleza

Another Brazilian name has been added to the UFC’s March 11 event in Fortaleza.

Curitiba’s Francisco Trinaldo will meet Kevin Lee in an interesting lightweight matchup at UFC Fight Night 106. MMAFighting.com confirmed an initial report by Combate.

Trinaldo (21-4) has quietly strung together a seven-fight win streak. His most recent victory was a doctor’s stoppage over Paul Felder in the third round of their Sept. 24 matchup.

Lee (14-2), meanwhile, has been on almost as impressive a run. The “Motown Phenom” has won seven of his past eight fights and three in a row. His most recent performance, a technical submission over Magomed Mustafaev, earned him a ‘Performance of the Night’ bonus on Nov. 19 in Belfast.

Vitor Belfort vs. Kelvin Gastelum is the scheduled main event for the Fortaleza event.
