Rony Jason meets undefeated Jeremy Kennedy at UFC Fight Night: Fortaleza

The UFC added a featherweight bout between Rony Jason and Jeremy Kennedy to the UFC Fight Night 106 card on March 11. The event takes place at the Olympic Training Center in Fortaleza, Brazil.

Born in Ceara, which capital is Fortaleza, Jason (14-6, 1 no contest) has his back against the wall after winning only one of his last five UFC bouts. The first TUF Brazil winner scored a second in this run, a submission over Damon Jackson, but had the victory overturned after failing a drug test for a banned diuretic.

Kennedy (9-0), on the other hand, enters the 145-pound bout coming off an unanimous decision victory over Alex Ricci in his Octagon debut as a lightweight. The Canadian prospect returns to the featherweight division looking to improve to 10-0 as a professional mixed martial artist.
