Today on the program, we'll go over UFC heavyweight Mark Hunt's lawsuit against the UFC, Brock Lesnar and UFC President Dana White. He's claiming a number of things, including the UFC willfully acted to give Lesnar the ability to compete despite allegedly knowing he was doping. He's seeking millions of dollars in damages and yet, is still set to face Alistair Overeem at UFC 209 in March. For now, anyway. One wonders if that fight ultimately happens.
On Sunday (not Saturday), former UFC welterweight and lightweight champion B.J. Penn returns to action as he faces Yair Rodriguez in the main event of UFC Fight Night 103. It's not clear what to make of this push by Penn, whether it's extraordinarily ill advised or if the veteran fighter still has a few tricks up his sleeve.
Plus there's been groundbreaking concussion research, UFC 209 is filling up with great fights, Chael Sonnen is on the the new Celebrity Apprentice and and more.
