Fabricio Werdum and Travis Browne will rematch at Saturday’s UFC 203 in Cleveland, and the former heavyweight champion is spicing things up before the bout.
The UFC held a pre-fight press conference Thursday afternoon in Cleveland, and the main attractions of the event faced off after answering questions from the media. As he entered the stage, Werdum told his teammates in Portuguese, "let's break this motherf---er."
Werdum and Browne faced off for a few seconds, and then the Brazilian started talking in Portuguese again.
"I will break your face, bastard," Werdum told Browne. "... I'll break your rib, clown. You know I will break you. You know I will break you. You know that."
Werdum and Browne competed for the first time in April 2014, and "Vai Cavalo" came out victorious via unanimous decision to earn a shot at the UFC heavyweight championship. Browne suffered broken hand and ribs during the 25-minute bout.
