Tiffany Van Soest's debut, five other fights added to Invicta FC 19

Invicta FC returns to Kansas City on Sept. 23, and the promotion has announced six new bouts to the fight card on Friday.

Headlined by interim flyweight champion Jennifer Maia and atomweight champion Ayaka Hamasaki against Roxanne Modafferi and Jinh Yu Frey, respectively, Invicta FC 19 will feature Irene Aldana against former featherweight title contender Faith Van Duin in a bantamweight fight.

Aldana (5-2) recently stopped UFC veteran Jessamyn Duke in the first round, while Van Duin (6-2), who suffered her only Invicta FC loss by the hands of Cris Cyborg, enters the bout coming off a decision win over Charlene Watt.

The promotion also added Manjit Kolekar (8-0) vs. Kaline Medeiros (7-4), Julia Jones (4-0) vs. Stephanie Skinner (4-5), Amber Leibrock (1-1) vs. Amy Coleman (2-0) and Ashley Greenway (1-0) vs. Sunna Rannveig Davidsdottir (0-0) to the card. Muay thai specialist Tiffany Van Soest will also make her MMA debut on the card, but the promotion has yet to announce her opponent.
