UFC 202 live blog: Rick Story vs. Donald Cerrone

This is the UFC 202 live blog for Rick Story vs. Donald Cerrone, a welterweight bout at Saturday night's UFC event at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Round 1: Should be a good one. Cerrone looking good at 170. See if he can keep it up. Third man for this one is Herb Dean.They touch gloves, and engage right in the center. Cerrone spins Story off. Leg kick and now Cerrone, similar to the Cote fight, scores a takedown! Wow. Now Story trying to fend here, as Cerrone trying to step over into side control. Can't do it, so he stands, and they scramble. Now Story, back on his feet, shoves Cerrone into the cage and goes to work on him there. They are clinching, and Story is bullying Cerrone on the post. He twists Cerrone down, and Cerrone looks for the omoplata...now transitions to a triangle. Now an armbar. Wow, Cerrone a bunch of trouble on his back. Story stays on him, and now grabs his back. Story pounding him with the right hand. Now he walks around to the other side of Cerrone, who is turtled on his knees. Cerrone pushes his body up, and now he sneaks out. Story holds the middle as they reset. Cerrone wheels around, adn Story with an inside leg kick. Knee to the body from Cerrone, and Story with a body kick. Great action there. Nice leg kick off a combo for Cerrone, and Story bends a bit. Head kick errant from Story. Cerrone threatens a kick, and now he comes forward flinging, and he crashes that right hand home on the fence. Cerrone looking fluid. Another leg kick by him, and a combination on the move. Story not handling those flurries well. Nice exchange at the end of the round, with Cerrone landing a right. MMA Fighting scores R1 for Cerrone, 10-9.

Round 2: Greg Jackson tells Cerrone to "flow and go" this round, and to fight the takedowns like crazy. Big shot misses from Story, and Cerrone lands a knee to his body, catching him coming in. Cerrone lands a quick series of long ranging shots with his fists; just pretty stuff. Now as he comes in Story ducks, yet Cerrone adapts and blasts him with an uppercut. Story is definitely thinking twice about shooting here. Leg kick from Cerrone off the feint. Another knee to the body from Cerrone, just as Story was moving in. Wow! Cerroen hits Story with a body shot, then a punch combo, head kick — and now he's swarming. It's over! Wow. He just picked Story apart there. Crisp, accurate striking, and he coolly finished Story when he knew he had him hurt. Hit the body, the face, the body, the face...Story didn't know what hit him.
