Kevin Ferguson Jr. -- a.k.a. "Baby Slice" in homage to his late father "Kimbo Slice" -- will make his Bellator debut on Aug. 26 at Bellator 160.
And he'll be facing MMA newcomer, Johnny Tomasian. It confirmed through Bellator officials by MMA Fighting. MMA Junkie was the first to report the fight.
Ferguson Jr. made his amateur debut in Massachusetts in Warrior Nation: XFA XII, defeating Tom Brink via a first-round knock out in Chicopee, Massachusetts. Since that time Ferguson Jr. has relocated from Hartford, Conn., to Long Beach, California, to train at Team Bodyshop.
It was announced that he signed a deal with Bellator on July 26.
Bellator 160 takes place at the Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif. It will feature a headlining bout between Benson Henderson and Patricio Freire in the lightweight division, as well as a featherweight fight between Bubba Jenkins and Georgi Karakhayan.
Bellator officials also told MMA Fighting that four-time NCAA D-II wrestling champion Joey Davis will make his MMA debut, taking on Keith Cutrone.
